10:30 AM - Autism and Vision Problems with host Dr. Steven Haleo. Why won't my child look at me? Learn what vision skills are used in every day experiences and the 15 Vision Acquisition & Vision Processing skills that can be a challenge for children with Autism. With 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Haleo will lend insight to parents and educators, who work, teach, and love the children they care about. Dr Haleo is a Board Certified Optometric Physician specializing in the diagnosis, management, treatment and development in children and adults.
11:30 AM - Autism and Chiropractic Care with host Dr. Timothy Clare. How can chiropractic care help your child with autism? Dr. Clare is from ProHealth and Wellness in Charlotte.
12:15-12:30 PM - Break - Gluten Free Food Tasting
12:30-1:00 PM - Gluten Casein Free Cooking Demo and Tasting
1:00-2:00PM - Planning Your Child's Future with Ryan Prat. Ryan will empower you to build a solid planning foundation for you and your loved ones. Learn about wills, trusts, special needs trust, guardianship, our child's lifetime needs, governement benefits, while learning how to integreate all the pieces into a cohesive plan. This is a must for anyone with a special needs child!
2:00-3:00PM - Teen Peer Buddies with Lora Caudill. Lora will speak on the importance of using teen peer buddies and give the pro's and con's while giving you ideas on how to get a peer buddy for your child. Lora is an EC teacher working with children affected with Autism.
